Heroes for a Day start om 8:30<\/strong> met een rustig en warm welkom. Bij aankomst voorzien we een lekker welkomstontbijtje<\/strong>, zodat iedereen ontspannen kan starten. Ondertussen geniet je van het mooie uitzicht aan onze receptie. Tijdens dit moment geven we ook graag wat uitleg<\/strong> over het verloop van het evenement, zodat iedereen goed ge\u00efnformeerd en op zijn gemak aan de dag kan beginnen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Na het onthaal starten jullie met workshop 1<\/strong>, samen met het Rode Kruis<\/strong>. Eerst luisteren jullie naar een vrijwilliger die vertelt over zijn ervaringen<\/strong>. Recht uit het echte leven. Ook iemand die zelf geholpen werd door het Rode Kruis deelt zijn verhaal, wat het extra persoonlijk en herkenbaar maakt.<\/p>\n

Daarna is het tijd voor actie<\/strong>: jullie nemen een kijkje in een echte Rode Kruis-wagen<\/strong> en ontdekken hoe alles er in de praktijk aan toe gaat. Er is volop ruimte om vragen te stellen en zelf dingen te verkennen, dus het wordt allesbehalve saai.<\/p>\n

Daarna is het de beurt aan de brandweer<\/strong>. Eerst luisteren jullie naar een vrijwillige brandweerman\/-vrouw die vertelt hoe het er echt aan toe gaat en welke ervaringen<\/strong> hij\/zij al heeft meegemaakt: spannend en indrukwekkend.<\/p>\n

Daarna gaan jullie zelf aan de slag: <\/strong>kruip in de huid van een echte brandweerman of -vrouw! Jullie nemen het met twee klassen tegen elkaar op (CMM vs. Marketing<\/strong>), trekken een echt brandweerpak<\/strong> aan en leggen een parkoertje af , zo voelen jullie meteen hoe zwaar en intens het is. Daarnaast krijgen jullie ook een kijkje bij de brandweerwagen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Daarna maken jullie kennis met de Vlaamse reddingshonden<\/strong>. Eerst krijgen jullie uitleg over wat er allemaal komt kijken bij het trainen<\/strong> van deze honden en in welke situaties<\/strong> ze worden ingezet.<\/p>\n

Daarna wordt het opnieuw actie<\/strong>: jullie mogen de honden van dichtbij ontmoeten<\/strong> en zien ze ook in actie tijdens een speurmoment<\/strong>. Zo krijgen jullie een unieke blik<\/strong> op hoe ze te werk gaan \u00e9n hoe sterk de band is tussen hond en begeleider.<\/p>\n
